Summer '09 is goin fine!!!

there is so much to update about! summer has been insane! i've been so busy, and there's still so much to do! where to start?!

well, i found a second job. i've been working at Panera Bread in Colony Place (not tim's panera, lol) i'm their weekend bakery-line opener. my shifts are death. friday&saturday 6:00am-2:00 and sunday 6:30am-3:00. my body aches by monday and then i usually have like a 9:00-3:00 shift or something. the money is great, but i don't know how i'm going to handle this job when i go back to school, cuz i already had to decide to take the rest of the summer off from Seattle's Best Cafe, which makes me sad... that's a long story though. apparently some managers are incompetent, and don't know how to make schedules!

BUT, melissa is moving to texas, and she worked at a Starbucks in Bourne, and they needed someone to take her spot, so i interviewed there the other day and got hired! LOL. so i'm wicked excited, i've always wanted to work at starbuckkks! so i'm leaving panera and going to do what i know and love: make coffee <3

sooo basically, that's big news. OH and North Carolina for the family reunion next weekend! WOOO! seems like this reunion has been planned forever!

ANDDD tonight, i'm going to see RENT LIVE IN BOSTON!!!!!!! it's my third time seeing it live! i'm going with tim, katy, niki, CoEn, and amanda! adam pascal and anthony rapp, from the original broadway cast are starring in it!!!!!! i am too excited for words! this is going to be an amazing night! i have to go get ready, but i'll update about other crazy summer stuff later!!!

spring break didn't feel like spring break. it  was too early/no one else was off.
i spent most of the week in dartmouth with tim, since their break wasn't til the following week. i went to class with him and got to see what his nursing major is like lol.
i hung out with jenn one day, and it was fun catching up. that wednesday, i had nothing to do, and a lady who works at my mom's preschool called out sick, so i got to play substitute! i went to work with my mom and hung out with 4 and 5 year olds all day. i really dont like kids, but these guys weren't so bad. they were kinda cute actually. i played blocks with them and helped them do a craft and even read them a story. it was fun meeting my mom's students. they all wanted to sit next to me. haha i was a big hit.
that friday night, tim and i hung out/went to the movies/went to sam diego's/went to the beach with john, dan, caitlin, and sam. yay plymouth peopleeee!
that saturday night i slept over tim's :-)
blah blah blah that was spring break. yup, no hours at work. fml.

the following week, tim was on break, which was awesomeee cuz he was home all week, which i loveee when he's home. it makes life soooo much easier. st. patrick's day was pretty crazy this year! we went to boston with john and scott, and john's friends. we walked around boston all afternoon, and they got a hotel room, so we basically drank, and drank, and drank and oh shit i was too drunk to take my train home, so i had to take the late one ooops! but it was fun. megan met up with us too! i couldn't stay the night cuz i had class the next day gurrr.

so, hours at work are non existent. this is my 3rd or 4th week without hours, i've lost track. someone called out friday so i got a little 4 hour shift, but besides that, i've had nothing. it pisses me off. no one else is hiring right now. they're all waiting for summer. there's stuff i want to buyyyy (new glasses, hair cut) but i can't cuz i have car payments and gas to pay for. makes me so mad not having extra cash. and i'm bored out of my mind. not good. frickin economy.

it's spring. doesn't feel like it. plus, i have bronchitis. OH JOY *dies*

i really can't wait for summer. only 4 weeks of classes left after this. and ohhh family reunion info!

BROXTON FAMILY REUNION

JULY 25, 2009 - PENROSE PARK COUNTRY CLUB, REIDSVILLE, N.C.

We hope and pray that we will be seeing ALL of you in six months. It will be here before you can bat an eye. We have many plans that must be completed before that important date, JULY 25, 2009. We want it to be a time that everyone will enjoy and remember for the rest of your
lives. It may be the last opportunity to learn of your heritage and meet your relatives.

There were eleven(11) Broxtons in Daddy and Mama's family in 1932. Today there are five(5) children left. There were twenty-six(26) grand children and today only twenty-two(22) left, yes time takes it's toll.

The club is lovely and the food will be delicious. We will have coffe, tea juice and pasteries when you arrive at 10:00 a.m. at no additional cost. The buffet will be $31.00 per person. There will be an assesment for each adult (21 yrs and older) to cover the club rental, linen and misc. (paper, ink, books, prizes, ect.) A cash bar will open at 1:00 p.m. For those arriving on the 24th we will be going to a resturant in Eden, N.C. They have very good food, seafood, steaks and chicken at very reasonable prices. Reservations are for 6:30 p.m. that night.

We will be staying at the Comfort Inn Motel, two rooms with one serving as a hospitality room. Bring your bathing suits as they have a pool. And also a nice continental breakfast.
Reservations for the motel must be made by June 30, 2009 for the reduced rate. You can always cancil if an emergency comes up. July 24, 2009 until 4:00 p.m. is the dead line for cancellation. They have twenty(20) rooms reserved but will give us additional ones if we need them,(eleven(11) have already been booked).

merr. i had to come home. i didn't want to. florida was perfect. every day was 80 degrees and sunny, and filled with relaxation.

on friday afternoon we flew out of providence on the smallest plane i've ever seen! wicked tiny! we almost missed our connecting flight in georgia! landed in ft. myers late; got to eagle's nest resort at 1:00am! dad made eggs and it was awesome.

saturday morning- woke up and couldnt believe we were there :-)  went to suzie's diner for breakfast then went grocery shopping. got stuff ready and went down to the pool. the Perry's arrived around noon! it didnt feel like it had been a year since we saw them! met bobby's girlfriend liz, shes so cute. we all relaxed by the pool all day. niki, kim, and i played Bingo. i have never won Bingo in my life, and i won $8 and an eagles nest magnet! LOL kim won a fuzzy frog! fun stuff. later we had a cookout and went to the beach to watch the sunset :-) so fun!

sunday- started drinking at 10:00am hell yeah mimosas! sat by the pool alllllllll day. dance party with niki. (STAY AWAY FROM JULIET! lmao)

monday- sat by the pool allllll day haha. toured the new marriott property going in down the beach. wicked nice. "midnight" dip in the hot tub!

tuesday- dad met up with my grandfather to golf, so the girls had a date and took a long walk that morning. then, you guessed it- sat by the pool all day :-D dinner at Quinn's on the beach! got dad hooked on american idol lmao.

wednesday- poooooool. went to Carabas for dinner and played mini golf. dad wanted to watch american idol again hahaha

thursday- pool and beach and long walks. yummy cookout. played ping pong and pool and it was so funny.

friday- said goodbye to eagle's nest. drove into naples and walked around outlet malls. checked into the marriott and went in the hot tub. hung out, caught the last sunset. niki and i threw gummy worms off our deck :-) (we had the perfect beach view!)

saturday- coffee at fidalgo's, packed up, drove to ft. myers to see pepere's new little house, flew into charolette and had a 3 hour layover. got into providence late. burr cold merr.

basically, it was the best vacation of my life. i loved every single minute of it. i loved spending all that time with my family. this is the kind of stuff i'll remember all my life :-)

i didn't get sunburned this year!!!! yay SPF 60+!



ughhhhhhhhh i want to go back to florida so bad right now. i wish i had updated sooner cuz i know i'm leaving out loads of stuff. ahhhhhhh wanna go backkkkkk nowwwwww.

valentines day haha i was sick so we didnt go out. we rented "burn after reading" wicked funny. tim made me sugar cookies in the shape of hearts with mocha frosting! i gave him coke vanilla zero. lol we're silly. last monday was a holiday so sunday night i bought us some coconut rum and we had some fun and a sleepover :-)

thank god i can go to dartmouth wednesday. i miss my tim. i can't wait for this summer (BLINK-182 GOT BACK TOGETHER OMFGGGGGGGG SO HAPPY GOING TO SEE THEM IN CONCERT LIKE TOTALLY AHHHH!)

so friday tim called me as he was on his way back  to plymouth, and gave me six heartattacks. he flipped his jeep and rolled. he was fine, not a scratch on his body thank god. scary stuff :-(  RIP jeep.
we still ended up going to Newport for dinner. we went to Mama Lusia's, the excellent itallian restaurant we went to last year for our anniversary. the shrimp was even more amazing than i could possibly imagine remembering! after dinner we explored around and had icec cream at cold stone. i hope we can go back in the spring.
tim slept over friday and saturday since his parents were out of town and tim needed rides to work. i wish i didnt have so much freakin homework this weekend so we could have spent more time cuddling and less time bullshitting papers.

whats up. same old same old.
none of my classes are interesting anymore. they're all boring and pointless. especially my online contemporary sculpture course. advice of the semester- don't ever take an online course. especially and online art course. my business courses are in no way related to business management whatsoever. i'm really pissed because i want to learn manager skillz yo.
work is work. i feel like i live there cuz i do the 3 days in a row thing plus wednesday. i mean, i love cafe, and i'm excited for holiday promotion (EGGNOG LATTES NOV 5th!) but i don't have a real set schedule. the hours vary. sometimes i get 27 a week and sometimes i only get 24. its weird. i like opening by myself, its nice. but its so hard to do a closing shift on a saturday when i can't get any homework done in the morning, and then i have to be back at the store early sunday morning. ughh.
so this weekend tim and i are taking off from work, and we're going to Umass Amherst to visit john, and go to Umass Band Day! i am very excited. i love our road trips. and hopefully i can go to dartmouth next week for halloween and stuff. our 4 year anniversary is 3 weeks from sunday omgggg. i can't wait.

boofy died a year ago... i miss him so much. he loved autumn. i've been thinking about him a lot lately. he was such a good kitty. </3

the carrot cake tim made me for my birthday is almost gone. i put it in the freezer so it would keep longer but my family keeps eating it. merr.

i'm getting fat. i need to exercise. thank god for ballet.

i had a cold a few weeks ago, and theres still crap in my chest. it won't go away and it's gross. allergies need to go away too. i need to stop using so many kleenex... poor trees.

so yeah, i'm sick of school, homework, tests, and projects. its only midterm wtf. there is a bunch of stuff i am sick and tired of. but i have to live with it til winter break. some days, i am just so unhappy but i feel like i can't talk about it because no one will understand. it suckssssss. whatever, at least this weekend should be fun.

i would really love to vent my ass off right about now. i dont know if i can take this anymore. i dont even have time to rant. i have so much fucking shit to do. but god, I AM SO SICK OF THIS.

classes are bearable, thank god. i only have classes on tuesdays and thursdays, 8:00am-3:15pm. 5 classes back to back, and an online course.
8:00 anthropology of women- no tests/midterm/final for that class sweet. she cancelled today, wicked sweet.
9:30 service operations management- typical business professor.
11:00 managerial accounting- pretty cool professor. no balance sheets, wicked awesome.
12:30 personnel development- ancient lady but not too bad. theres a kid from plymouth in my class so yay someone to talk to. learning how to be a trainer should be fun. we'll be working with the american red cross for a project so it sounds pretty cool.
2:00 fundamental information systems- funny wise-guy professor. we have to look up fun random websites for assignments. he said all the hard work will be handed in before thanksgiving, so thats pretty nice.
online course- its my second year seminar, writing intensive. its called contemporary sculpture. its stupid but the art is cool so far.

i hate trying to find a parking space. and it took me 20 minutes to get off campus today because of all the people taking that left turn. waste of life.

my birthday is in less than a month! 21?!?! i kinda want to have a party on halloween cuz thats a friday night. woooo.

work tomorrow, just a 6 hour shift. classes thursday, then going up to Umass Dartmouth for tim's birthday! my baby is gonna be 20! we're going to dave&busters in providence and i'm staying up there for the night :-)  we will have all day friday to spend together :-D i miss my timmy so much.

i took friday and saturday off because we thought friday was tim's move in day, but it actually wasn't til sunday, so we had 2 days off together. friday we slept in, and that afternoon tim loaded our bikes onto his jeep and we went bike riding down the canal. it was such a nice afternoon, not too hot, not too cold or windy. good exercise! then we found a mini golf place! i was being so cocky, and i was winning, but then i became over confident, and started messing up, so tim beat me my 2 strokes! lol. it was fun. we had never been biking or mini golfing together before! we will def do it again cuz we had a great time.
tim started packing on saturday. it made me really bummed out. but that night we went to humarock to visit my great aunt mary and great uncle vic. my parents, niki, and matt were there too. tim and i took a walk along the beach. i can't believe this was the first time i made it up to humarock all summer ahh i'm so pissed at myself. but we had a pretty fun night. i finally got to taste one of uncle vic's famous pina coladas!!! it was more delicious than i ever imagined. aunt mary made so much pasta, meatballs, and eggplant! her italian cooking is to die for! tim and i were so full, but we still went to sam diego's for our last fried ice cream of the summer. (we treated ourselves because we collected $20 in bottle/can returns! friggin sweetness.)
i didnt want to get up on sunday. i died when my phone alarm went off. i had to go to work, and tim had to leave for school. i just wanted to beg him to stay. work was absolutely horrible. nothing went right. i fucked up drinks and everything. after work, i went up to dartmouth for the night. tim is in a pretty nice suite and his dorm is way better than last year.
monday morning we got up, showered, and tim took me out for bagels and coffee. i had to work at noon so i had to leave at 10:45. i didnt want to go. i wanted to steal tim and take him home with me. last night was the first time in over a week that i had to sleep alone :-(  i dont like it. i had gotten really used to sleeping together. merr.

i didnt have hours today so i got some stuff done around the house, and i got my hair cut and highlighted. i have one layer and side bangs now. its different, but i feel less boring now hah.
i finally uploaded my Maine pictures to facebook. i think i am going to be hooked on the 90210 series now. i watched the first part of the premiere tonight and it was kinda good. ahhh i cant have another t.v. show! i already have 2!

ugh classes start thursday for me. 1 more day of summer. shit, that went by way too fucking fast. i feel like summer didnt even happen. i feel like we jumped, and now its back to the rat race. i hate this already. i hate not having him right here. i fucking hate this and its only been 2 days.

i need this last week of summer to go by slower than a dead turtle. sorry, that was disturbing, but i'm serious. i need time to slow the hell down.

work short shift tomorrow, and sunday. then tim and i are driving up to maine to hang out with CoEn, auntie dot, and uncle mike! they have a cabin up there. i have never been to maine before, and i've alaways wanted to go, so i'm excited. CoEn's friend lyssa will be staying up there too yay!  my mom, dad, and niki are driving up monday morning. we'll be there til tuesday night. tim is bringing his kayak and hes gonna teach me how to row! it should be a fun vacation!

then i'm working wednesday, but that's if for the week. we thought tim's move-in day was friday, but its not til next sunday, so we have 3 whole days together before he has to leave. we want to plan a little trip or something. cape cod? newport? canobie lake? the vineyard? something really special.

ugh. i dont want him to leave. i dont want to be all alone. i have gotten so used to sleeping next to him all night, and waking up together, all warm and snuggly. i dont know what the hell i am going to do. my mom said that he won't be able to stay here on weekends like he did last semester, and i dont know why. my grades were excellent last semester. i made freakin dean's list! so i dont understand why he can't stay here, or why she won't let me stay at his house. i know we're not married yet, but she needs to understand that our relationship is different from her's and my dad's when they were our age. if they give me crap this year, then i'm not gonna have a choice, i'm gonna have to live on campus senior year, which means i will keep my car, and they will have to get niki her own. i dont want to screw them over, i think i'd rather save money by commuting and just get a new car for senior year. but if they drive me crazy this year, and are still being overprotective and giving me shit about tim, then i will have no choice. i'm gonna be freakin 21 in a little over a month, so they will need to relax a little.

i got a dry erase calendar and hung it on my door. i am going to keep track of when i exercise. the goal will be something like 30 minutes, 3 times a week, and ballet for 1 1/2 each week. i think i'll stay healthier if i exercise. i dont have time to get sick this year.

i am not spending $600 on books this semester. i finally figured out how to look up my books i will need, and i found 2 on amazon, both were under $40 each, FUCKING YESSS!! and i am getting my 3 anthropology books from Borders. omfg, this is why i love working at a bookstore, discount on school books!!!!!
i hope this tuesday/thursday class thing will work out. i have never had an 8:00am college class before. i have a bad feeling about it, but its just anthropology of women. i only have 8 days of class in september. haha i already counted.

i dont want to go back. i am done with college and learning. i just want my degree. i just want to start real life.
